Professionally, I am a consumer bankruptcy attorney practicing in Los Angeles, CA. With all the information out there, making the right decision may be difficult. I offer a free initial consultation to help people determine what is right in their particular situation.

Bankruptcy practice is highly emotional by nature. A lot of times people put off the decision to file for bankruptcy. This delay may lead to loss of assets or unnecessary additional expenses. Timing really is everything. Sometimes waiting is also necessary, but you won’t know that until you speak with an experienced bankruptcy attorney.

This is how I structure my practice and represent my clients:

• I work hard to make the process of filing for bankruptcy as painless as possible. I guide my clients with compassion through what may be one of the hardest decisions they will ever have to make.
• I answer calls and emails within 24 business hours.
• I deal with your case from start to finish and don’t pass your case off to a paralegal or secretary. I believe that if you hire and pay for an attorney you should have the opportunity to consult your attorney, not his/her secretary or assistant.
• I handle a limited amount of cases at a time. This allows me to keep careful track of all cases and to know the nuances of every case I handle. If you call, I will know who you are and will know what issue you are talking about. You will not get that from attorneys you only see before you pay your fee or attorneys that handle hundreds of bankruptcies a month.

As for the details…

I graduated Loyola Law School in the top 10% of my class. I received an undergraduate degree in Management Science from University of California, San Diego. I am a proud member of NACBA (National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys) and a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association.

I was an extern to the Honorable Samuel L. Bufford, U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge in Downtown Los Angeles. Also, I completed a fellowship in the Consumer Division at Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. Subsequently, I worked at the Sharf Law Firm in Encino, CA, where I practiced Bankruptcy Law.

I speak fluent Russian and emigrated from Belarus with my family in 1989.
